In the Dubai Metro, the trains are divided into classes depending on your ticket. A reusable silver card, or a daily red one get you a seat in the regular carts. A gold card gets you a seat in the nicer cart, where the seats are nicer and have more leg room. In between the regular carts and the gold cart, is a single cart for women and children, who can enter regardless of card type. I boarded and nobody was in the typically filled gold cart. It was slightly unnerving.
