Today was my last day at my dental internship. It's been an amazing seven weeks, and I can't say enough good things about the office. The staff was super friendly and both doctors were enthusiastic about teaching me. The dental assistants were great about explaining procedures and dental processes. I got lots of hands on experience, literally. When I wasn't sterilizing the tools or running x-rays, I assisted with cleanings, which meant holding the slow-speed suction. It was awesome! Plus, as a good bye present, I was gifted with a giant cookie.
