Ever since I started my dental internship several weeks ago, I've been asked on more than one occasion if I have access to laughing gas. The short answer is no. The longer answer is I'm an intern, why would I have access to the laughing gas? Plus, it's not even used very often because most patients are just fine with the anesthetic. We have these things, but I don't even know if it's actual laughing gas. It just looks like plain compressed oxygen, and not nitrous oxide.
